The recent images of our universe delivered by NASA’s James Webb telescope are astounding.

These remind us that though our star is one of so many in our galaxy, there are countless galaxies, making our place even smaller and seemingly insignificant in the bigger scheme. Huge collections of brilliant stellar bodies in flux at grand scales, rotating around black holes where the physics of matter meets the physics of possibility.

We own a singular role in this universe, a conscious cell of awareness, imperfect and incomplete,* where the universe is able to contemplate itself. And marvel.
